Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#25072)
Originally from Delaware, Taylor moved to Jacksonville with her family at age 15 and has called it home ever since! She graduated with her Bachelor’s of Social Work from University of North Florida in 2020, and her Masters in Clinical Social Work from Florida State University in 2022 (Go Noles!). When she’s not at work, you can find her at a coffee shop, reading a good book and exploring Jacksonville.
Taylor has clinical experience working in school and private practice settings with individuals of all ages. She has a background in trauma informed care and has supported children, teens, and adults working through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, stress, relational challenges, and low self-esteem. In her previous roles, Taylor has also had the unique opportunity to work with children and families involved in the foster care system. Prior to becoming a therapist, Taylor worked in a college setting supporting individuals with intellectual differences and has experience serving in a local church as a Kid’s Minister.
Taylor walks alongside clients with a person centered, trauma informed approach. She is passionate about creating a warm, non-judgemental environment where clients feel safe and supported. Her desire is to meet each client where they are at and honors each individual as a whole person. During sessions, Taylor takes an individualized approach and uses a variety of evidenced based techniques and skills to assist the client she is working with.
Taylor has received training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is currently receiving training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Taylor sees individuals 10 years old and up. She works in the MANDARIN office Mondays and Wednesdays She is currently in network with Aetna and on a waitlist for United Healthcare. She is a Tricare Point of Service provider. She does not see clients using EAP benefits at this time.
