Stuart Whitlow returns to Jacksonville after spending the last 3 years in Arkansas working in churches and doing counseling as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. He earned his Masters of Art in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in 1994. Over the last 27 years, he has counseled in a number of different clinical settings including private practice, community mental health agencies, hospital outpatient and local churches.

He has experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety and depressive disorders, substance abuse issues, grief/loss, stage of life issues. He also works with men dealing with pornography and sex addictions. He has worked with both active duty military personnel, veterans and their families during his counseling career.

Stuart has years of experience doing premarital counseling and helping couples in crisis improve their relationship and receive healing. He and his wife Melissa, who is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor often lead Intensive Marriage Weekends and Marriage Retreats together and draw from their 28 year relationship to help couples increase the satisfaction in their relationships.

Stuart has also served on church staff in several churches in Louisiana and Florida, and can integrate faith into counseling sessions if requested.
